Introducing Thunder Falls

After a few delays, I'm thrilled to finally invite you to Thunder Falls!

If you're a follower of my Instagram, you may remember the name from a while back. After a full year of writing and editing, I'm proud to announce the publication of Getting Off Easy — the prequel story that started it all. It's been expanded by a thousand words and has a lovely new cover. Additionally, I have several other projects planned for this year, including the first two novels in the Thunder Falls series. (More on that later!)

I suppose you're wondering how Thunder Falls got started — well, it all began with a dare! My writer friends and I were discussing books we'd like to read, and one of us jokingly suggested a MM romance set in a small town, with a rugby team and X-Men elements. I thought it was a great idea and decided to write it, which is how Thunder Falls came to be.

I'm a long-time fan of romantic stories featuring gay couples, and the Kindle has offered me an abundance of books that fit my interests. I've always had a soft spot for small town romance, so Thunder Falls was an obvious choice for the setting of my own stories. It's a place where characters can take it easy while they look for their happily ever after (HEA).

The addition of a super powers element to Thunder Falls comes from my love of fanfiction. Before I got into e-readers, slash fiction was my introduction to the wonderful world of gay romantic fiction. I often found myself pondering what it would be like if Clark and Lex abandoned their friendship and explored the sexual tension between them on Smallville. Thunder Falls is my own version of this concept with original characters.

The first short story I'm offering is called Getting Off Easy and follows Clay, an ordinary guy, and his best friend Reese. Late one night, as they're training together at the gym, Reese tells Clay his belief that he gives off pheromones. This sparks an idea and they decide to put it to the test! What they find is awfully steamy and both characters have an experience they won't soon forget.

Thank you for giving my blog a read! There is so much more to come!
